Though flanked by sprawling “old money” mansions, the heart of the town brims with unpretentious allure: A picturesque setting, nestled in a quiet valley, seemingly insusceptible to the strains and bustle of city life. Crime is low, thanks to a close-knit community, most of which boast rich family history intertwined with the origins of August Vale itself.
But the town holds a secret.
